Gerogia run off election is schedule for 12/2/2008. According to Georgia law, if no candidate get more than 50% vote in the general election, a run off election will be called. This year's general election include the high profile senate seat race. I think the incubant Republican dandidate Saxby Chambliss will likely beat his opponant, Democratic candidate Jim Martin, since Georgia is a red state by and large.

I have a mixed feeling about this race. I mainly agree with Martin on more issues than with Chambliss. I also don't like what Republicans have done in last few years. However, I also worried Democratic's control of both the legislative and administrative branches of the government will give them uncontrolled power. This will break too much of the balance in the political arena.

Since I am voting for the candidate, not the party, I casted my vote to Martin. I am anxious to see the results in the evening.
